    AOS-CX Restore switch to factory default!

    There is no hardware button to reset the switch to factory default settings. The clear button is not there, the reset button will only reboot the switch (short press triggers software reboot, long press triggers hardware reboot). The way to restore switch to factory default is by typing the command "erase all zeroize" at console.

    And how do you do if you have forgotten the login password to access console/cli ?

    Whitehawk29FR  you would need to boot and go to Service OS (option 1 at boot)...from which you could then change the password

    During Reboot choose Option 0 , and then type "erase zeroize"

    Hello, I have done the erase all zeroize and it does reset the switch but it keeps the old VSF config, how can I get rid of that?
    I have tried no vsf member 1 as its member 1 and it says do you want to continue and reboots itself but after login show vsf still shows to old vsf being there.
