how can I check whether an SFP optic is a genuine, i.e. a optic that is manufactued by HP?

• So, either "Emcore Corp." produced this one for HP or it is a fake...

Looks genuine. The sticker normally gives it away - OEM labelling is pretty simple.

The best way to find out is to take pictures on all 4 sides of the stick, and call support.
