  • 1.  Users connected to SSID but cannot get to internet without forgetting/rejoining network

    Posted 21 days ago

Every morning previously authenticated users arrive at the office, their devices automatically join the network, but they are unable to get out to the internet unless they completely forget the SSID then rejoin. This is across all devices (Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android). There are no helpful logs/alerts being generated.

We are running AP-755s off 9012 gateways which are providing DHCP. The network is WPA-Personal (PSK). We are running identical setups elsewhere without theses issues, the only difference is that this is the only site using the new AP-755 (we use 655 everywhere else).

    Any suggestions?

What firmware versions? Is the SSID tunneled or bridged? Same release running across the different locations? How do you make sure the config is the same across sites?

Does this happen when people visit a site that has AP6xx but previously have been at a site with AP7xx (or vice versa)? Or also on the site with just the AP7xx?

Latest firmware (10.8.1.1_96846), SSID is bridged. This is a relatively new site(<6 months) so we can't really compare user experience from one site to another. Interestingly this was not an issue when we first deployed the site, this is a recent occurrence.
